We were fortunate to be able to have the photographers fly a drone over the property, so our project can be seen from a bird’s eye view. Different than the on-the-ground experience, so we are pleased to be able to present the work this way!

I created this work in the fall of 2023, with the intention of entering it into the Contemporary Mosaic Art juried exhibition in Eugene, Oregon, in May of 2024. I am pleased to announce that it was accepted, and will be shown at the New Zone Gallery in Eugene from April 30 – May 31 2024.
Rhythm and Renewal takes a discarded piece of jagged, rusty metal and gives it new life as the focal point of a new wall sculpture. I’m thinking about the traditions and rhythms of the past as anchors to ground me as I move through life. Always juxtaposed on the order is the ongoing journey through the messy and the unknown, with the goal of crafting a satisfying life.
