In Conversation: Members of the Northwest Mosaic Artists’ Alliance

Wednesday, October 14: 7 pm to 8 pm

Kelley Knickerbocker, Lynn Adamo, Todd Campbell, Richard Davis, and Jennifer Kuhns join moderator Jenna d'Anna, Port Townsend School of the Arts Program Manager, for a lively discussion of the joys and challenges of creative expression with bits of glass, stone, metal, ceramic, and other hard materials. They’ll talk about what drew them to this ancient medium; where their work fits into the contemporary worldwide movement that has transformed what was once mostly a decorative craft or trade into a thriving art form; and how and why they choose to respect, reimagine, or abandon traditional mosaic methods, tools, and materials in the quest to achieve fresh expressive results in their work.
